In March, I had a most poignant and serendipitous series of events happen to me, and it led to a meeting with Deb Kaul, one of the founders of a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide community support for those affected with memory loss, as well as their families and caregivers.
Our meeting was achieved by an opportune connection made when I was awarded a grant to continue Resplendent Residents- and I was so glad to have found a solid starting point to put my talent to good use for the community. Memory Cafe's Linger, Laugh & Learn Center is located at 1122 First Avenue North in Fargo.

In March of 2022, I was awarded a grant to go towards my hopes of expanding the Resplendent Residents project to Fargo/Moorhead and surrounding communities. It is a tremendous honor and compliment to be considered, and that my project was seen as I had intended- to show the dignity, personality and life of our marginalized community members.
