As we are all aware, Covid-19 is still present and active in our communities and we don't know for how long it plans on staying.
This section is my current practice for our photography session.
I will wear a mask or face shield when requested, or if I feel that it's too many people in too small of an area.
If choosing Photographer's Atelier for location, I will likely not be wearing a mask. This is in my own home, but it's entirely up to your discretion whether or not you choose to wear one.
Before your session, I have every touch surface as sanitized as possible, and I wash my hands regularly. I have a bathroom with soap available for customers as well! There's also hand sanitizer gel or wipes in case you prefer that.
I will do my best to remember the 6-foot rule for both of us! There may be times I might be hurriedly scurrying out from people, so I hope I don't come across as rude.
I am booking indoor sessions: events, family, boudoir, and any others that you can think of. Be sure to message me if you don't see an option listed for your event!
This is still "Engagement Season" so make sure you book in advance for your photography needs. I'm also available for surprise proposals!
$100 discount on a 2-6 Hour Wedding package, if you book it within two weeks of your engagement session with me! This is EXCLUSIVE to that package only, and you are required to still pay the initial deposit to hold that date.
Remember: Stay home if you're sick. Wash your hands. Wave, don't shake. Wear clean underwear. Drink some water. Call if you need to cancel your appointment!

Besides being a mom and a budding entrepreneur, I am also an artist. I do my best to create something that you will treasure for years to come. I try to ask enough questions to get a good feel for what you're hoping to achieve- no matter the setting or occasion; I want your portrait session to feel like an accurate representation of yourself.
I grew up in Wahpeton, ND, and moved to Moorhead, MN in 2018. I love art, science, gaming, and crafting! I routinely subject my girls to arts and crafts in the hopes that they will find a worthwhile hobby to cultivate as they grow. Photography is an outlet of my artistic expression, along with decorating, writing, glue crafts, and repurposing. This is how I come up with some props for photoshoots!
I have been snapping pictures for as long as my family can remember. I purchased my first DSLR in 2015 before my youngest was born, and started my professional photographer status in 2018. I don't have a focused interest, other than I prefer to do a "run-and-gun" approach to most of my shoots. I offer a wide range of photography services, from session photography and portrait photography that most people are accustomed to seeing, offering memorial services, and more. I particularly enjoy connecting with people through photography- whether it's a showing or during the shoot! My current service areas are Fargo/Moorhead, Wahpeton/Breckenridge, and surrounding areas- any further and it's still an option, but there is an added fuel surcharge.
I regularly contribute to a friend's growing business in my hometown- Dustin Hill of Burkett Family Custom Knives. His website is chock full of some amazing art of his own, and creations that he pours his heart into.
Have an idea in your head of what you're looking to do?? Send me a message! Feel free to include your Pinterest board or some screenshots of what inspires YOU and what kind of emotion you want to evoke. Let's get creative for your photo shoot!
You can also send me your deets if you wanna collaborate: makeup artists, hair stylists, fellow photographers as well!
